IGN har intervjuat Paul Statham (BIS), bland annat får han frågor om vad som var största problemet i Operation Flashpoint (och hur de har fixat det i ArmA) och hur mycket realism man kan lägga in i ett spel utan att det blir tråkigt.
IGN UK: Continuing on the same theme, when does realism go too far and stop being fun? How've you attempted to overcome that problem in Armed Assault?
Paul Statham: It can be hard sometimes to find that balance. Of course, there are times when it's obvious to know what not to do - for example, if there's a night mission where the player must patrol a friendly base watching out for nocturnal interdiction by the enemy, it wouldn't be fun to make it four real-time hours of walking around freezing your butt off with no sign of the enemy. Sure that could be realistic but it certainly isn't much fun for the average gamer.
