Bakgrundshistoria
The year is 2009, and Afghanistan remains a battleground for control between government forces and insurgent groups. A Taliban faction has seized control of a vital valley deep in the Afghan mountains, turning it into a stronghold. The valley controls key supply routes and serves as a base for launching attacks across the region. Civilians and foreign aid workers have been taken hostage, and the Taliban have fortified the area with heavy weaponry and supplies.

The Afghan National Army (ANA) and US Army have joined forces to launch Operation Mountain Thunder—a coordinated assault to rescue the hostages, seize vital supply depots, and eliminate the Taliban threat in the valley. The ANA will lead the charge with their mechanized infantry, using armor support to breach Taliban defenses. The US Army, equipped with infantry, will support ANA forces to clear the valley.

Time is critical: Taliban reinforcements are expected, and the hostages’ lives hang in the balance. Success depends on swift coordination between the ANA and US forces as they push the Taliban out of this strategic stronghold and restore control to the region.
