Story

Half a year after the defeat of the Partie communiste de Tanoa (PCT) during the NATO-led operation "The Clean Up", the situation in the island state of Tanoa has improved only marginally. The rebels are still active on some of the side islands and the drug cartel "The Syndicate" uses the confusion to go about its business undisturbed.

Since NATO's mandate to combat the PCT will expire at the end of the current year, the government is now planning a final operation to wrest another area of ??operations from the rebels, the island of Balavu.

After the devastating defeat on the neighboring island of Savaka during Operation "The Clean Up", the PCT is on the defensive and knows that NATO will try to stamp out the rebellion with stem and stem.

The presence of the drug cartel "The Syndicate" on the island is an unpredictable factor. Since the Syndicate has benefited from the war and it is to be expected that the cartel has no interest in an end to the conflict.

It is even possible that the cartel could intervene in some way to further fuel the conflict.

Situation

The PCT faces the choice of either digging in or trying to outmaneuver NATO in the best possible way.

Although the PCT was able to prevent NATO from approaching with its armored vehicles by blocking the bridge to the neighboring island, its own situation does not look much better in terms of mobility.

It can therefore be expected that the skillful use of the terrain will make the decisive difference in the upcoming showdown.

Furthermore, it is completely unclear how the syndicate will behave, whose operating radius remains unknown.
