A person of interest (designation POI Theta Upsilon) possessing valuable and potentially sensitive information is currently held by elements of a fringe paramilitary group, which has been engaged in subversive activities against the Livonian government. Although this organisation is generally adversarial to our larger efforts, it has thus far been deemed more prudent to allow POI Theta Upsilon to remain in their custody, as this acts to prevent the dissemination of sensitive information.

However, local authorities have recently launched an effort to locate and secure this POI. Therefore, as a contingency measure, it has been decided to secure and contain POI Theta Upsilon. This task has been assigned to Task Force Sigma-7.

According to our latest intel, POI Theta Upsilon is held in an old quarry approximately 1.5 km north of Topolin, Livonia.


Opposition


Hostile forces are expected to comprise between 10 and 20 paramilitaries with varying degrees of military experience and training, equipped with small arms. No indications of heavy equipment. No anomalous activity anticipated.


Own forces

Sigma-7 will infiltrate the general area using civilian vehicles. Standard tactical loadout.


Other


Livonian government forces are not actively hostile, but may perceive any group of unknown armed men as potential terrorists or foreign agents. Avoid contact.
